As you can easily see from HomeLand Arts gallery you'll find three pictures of Howth. Two of the pictures illustrate the harbor and the next painting is of the Bailey Lighthouse, overlooking Dublin Bay. Howth is an excellent place to visit and can be a nice little escape for anyone spending some time in Dublin City. Based only 9 miles from the town center, it takes about 25 minutes to make the journey to by Dart (Dublins electric rail system). You can also get yourself a coach to Howth Summit where the views across Dublin bay are exceptional. On the clear day you can see as far south as Wexford and seeking east you can make out the hills of Wales. From here you can observe its watch and the Bailey Lighthouse across Dublin Bay towards the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains. Where the cliff walk begins our painting of the Bailey Lighthouse was decorated perhaps not far-from the peak.
